ISAF MID-YEAR MEETING VOTES

The ISAF COUNCIL has voted on the fate of multihulls in the 2012 Olympic Regatta. The number of votes in support of the Multihull event was exactly the same as it was in November - 21 votes in favor. Unfortunately, this fell short of the 2/3 majority needed.

Another difficult day in Hyères. A light sea breeze appeared late allowing only 1 race for the Tornados. The conditions suited sailors who have started their preparation for Qingdao. AUS Darren Bundock and Glenn Ashby remain in the lead.

3 races were sailed today. With a 7th and two bullets AUS Darren Bundock and Glenn Ashby are leading the event. 1 point behind in second are ESP Fernando Echavarri and Anton Paz. NED Mitch Booth and Pim Nieuwenhuis are third.
